BMK B3 Long Range RDT Transmitter

Regular price £55.00

This product is the upgraded version of the BMK B3 RDT Transmitter. The internal design and output power are identical but the enclosure has been changed due to the shortage.

The new high-powered B3 transmitter is designed to be used with all 434MHz BMK Remote DT receivers. With an output power nine times greater than the B1 predecessor, the B3 boasts several advanced features that set it apart.

Each digital transmitter is equipped with its transmission code and powered by an onboard Lithium Polymer battery. During the binding process, receivers learn the code, meaning that a single transmitter can be used with an unlimited number of receivers.

THE B1xxxxx TX CODE

If you already have a B1 or B2 transmitter and connected receivers, you can send me your B1/B2 codes and I will program your B3 with the same code. This way, you can use both transmitters together without re-binding your receivers. Otherwise, each B3 transmitter has its unique code.

The Integrated Ring & 10s Delay Button

The protection ring and a new side button (AKA. Abad button) are integrated into the enclosure.
DT time extends 30 seconds per press with compatible timers (see applicable timer specifications and manuals for more details).
* This feature was introduced on 18 September 2023 for all BMK RCDT-equipped timers.

THE BATTERY CHARGING

The battery should last for approximately 10,000 DT, but you will hear a different TX tone and four additional tones between transmissions when the battery is running low. Even when the battery is low, it should still be sufficient for approximately 200 DT, allowing you to complete the day without charging.

To charge the device battery, you can use a standard USB-C cable (not included). The charge LED will turn off when the battery is fully charged, which generally takes about 1.5 hours if the battery is empty.

* Please note that Li-Po batteries should be stored at a charge level of less than 80%. If not required, please avoid charging your device after a flight day.
