This is a fine-tuned antenna specifically designed for 434–435MHz operation. It’s made from Nitinol — a highly flexible Nickel-Titanium alloy also known as memory wire — and comes with a brass sleeve to make soldering easy and secure.
Unlike traditional antennas, the Nitinol wire naturally returns to its straight shape even after being bent. This makes it much more resistant to accidental damage during transport or use. It stays perfectly straight unless you intentionally apply a sharp bend.
For a 90-degree installation, you can simply use a small plier to gently bend the brass sleeve — no special tools required.

📡 Compatibility & Use
The antenna length is tuned to ~164mm, giving optimal performance at 434MHz — ideal for all BMK RDT receivers, BMK timers and GPS beacons.
If you're using BMK Radio Beacons such as PMR or FRS versions, you can trim the antenna to 154mm for best results at that frequency range.
⚠️ Note: Please only trim the antenna if you're sure about the intended application. A longer antenna gives better performance for GPS and timer use.
🔧 How to Install
- Soldering: Insert the brass sleeve into the output pad on your receiver or timer. Solder it carefully for a strong and clean connection.
- Positioning: The antenna can be left upright, or you can bend it to 90 degrees using a small plier if your installation needs a flat profile.
- Trimming (optional): If you're using the antenna with a radio beacon (PMR/FRS), trim the Nitinol wire down to 154mm using wire cutters.
- Mount Clearance: Ensure the antenna isn’t touching carbon or metal surfaces that may affect signal performance.
Once installed, no tuning or calibration is needed — it’s ready to go out of the box.
